   Alam Steel is a leader in the steel distribution industry maintaining strong relationships with some of the largest contracting and engineering firms in the region. Alam Steel was founded in Dubai, UAE in 1979 and is headquartered in the Jebel Ali Free Zone.

Alam Steel Ltd.: Alam Steel stocks and distributes steel and cement to major construction, engineering and fabrication firms in the region. The Company maintains substantial inventory of all steel products in over 2 million square feet of logistics facilities around the region. Alam uses its extensive supplier network to procure quality products from around the world. Investments in warehousing and transport have created a streamlined supply chain allowing Alam Steel to meet clients’ needs for materials to be delivered on a Just-In-Time basis.

Alam Steel Industries (ASI): ASI processes reinforcement bars in a 20,000 square meter facility located in the Dubai Investment Park. Alam Steel Industries is one of the largest factories of its kind with an annual capacity of over 500,000 tons. ASI became the first rebar processing factory in the Middle East to be awarded the prestigious UK based CARES Certification in October 2007.

Macsteel Gulf FZCO: The group has entered into a Joint Venture with Macsteel, a leading global steel firm to set up a steel service centre that processes plates and sections for the Oil & Gas, Dredging, Quarrying, Yellow Goods and Steel Fabrication Sector. The factory is based in the Jebel Ali Free Zone and is the first of its kind in the Middle East.

Alam Steel International: Alam Steel International established its presence in Turkey last year and is expanding to Saudi Arabia, Qatar and India.
